Wishing to address the lack of scholarships available to students created by the many refusals following changes in the selection criteria of the Indspire program, the Native Alliance has worked with the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples to improve the offer of scholarships for Indigenous people living off-reserve in the province of Quebec.
It is therefore with great pleasure that the Native Alliance announces that the contract for the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples’ ASETS scholarship program has been renewed and enhanced for the year 2024-2025.
You can contact the person in charge of scholarships by email to discuss this program and see if you are eligible. Email: bourses@aaqnaq.com.
All students have a different situation. Each one will be treated with the respect they deserve. We recognize that our members have needs and will do everything we can to help them. If you believe you meet these criteria or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at the email mentioned above.
For transportation and living expenses, a percentage is calculated and paid. The total amount requested is not necessarily approved.
Note: The amounts available are limited. There is no deadline to apply for the scholarship program, but it is recommended that you apply as soon as possible. Applications will not be processed until they are complete, so make sure to provide all the required documentation when applying.
Note: The time it takes to obtain a response may vary between 4- and 6-weeks following receipt of all the documents necessary for the application.
Note: If you have been approved and have signed a contract for more than one year, IT IS MANDATORY TO REAPPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP AS OF APRIL 1ST OF THE SECOND YEAR. Otherwise, your scholarship will not be refunded. In addition, if you have bills dated before April 1 of each year, make sure to send them to the person in charge as soon as possible, because as of April 1 of the new year, these bills will not be refunded.
